It may be challenging to get passionate about deadlines and budgets, but without them, most film projects would never come to fruition. A good producer will analyze the project’s elements, set proper expectations as to cost and timeframe, and oversee the business aspects of the film’s production to include hiring the right people for the job.
The Director and Producer work in tandem to balance the numbers with the artistic vision, frequently communicating goals, expectations, and project status to minimize production conflicts.
